About me

headshot of Whitni Watkins

My name is Whitni, I am a Web Systems Engineer for Analog Devices, Inc. where I manage the systems for the Technical Marketing and Information Services group. My professional interests include system management for libraries, user experience in physical and virtual library spaces, open source movements, and Women In Tech. I have been working in academic libraries for 4+ years and recently moved to the Engineering field to pursue greater challenges.

When it comes to web development, I am almost exclusively self-taught, which means I learned from seeing something I liked on the web or going through tutorials and then replicating what I saw with what I learned. Technology challenges us to be perpetual learners and adapters, particularly with the Internet and technology being at the forefront of society and such an integral part of what we do.
